He has structured and advised on more than $5 billion in financings, refinancings, and restructurings, improving liquidity by 20–40% for businesses across consumer goods, retail, manufacturing, and e-commerce sectors. His innovative approach continues to deliver measurable impact through multiple credit cycles.
Andy co-founded and led multiple finance platforms acquired by major banks, including Gordon Brothers Finance Company (Bank of America) and Paragon Capital (Wells Fargo), and built NewAlliance Bank’s lending platform that supported its sale to First Niagara. He also held senior positions at GMAC Commercial Finance, Capital Source Retail Finance, Wells Fargo, and Strategic Risk Advisors before serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Blue Ridge Bank until 2023.
A Bryant College graduate and former Director of the Commercial Finance Association (now Secured Finance Network), Andy serves as an advisor to Birchwood Partners Family Office and Jim Davis’s (Chairman of New Balance) ventures ecosystem. His subject-matter expertise spans structured debt, turnaround management, asset-based solutions, and working capital optimization for the lower-middle market.
